Ghillie grows new abilities — and here's the AWESOME part: he never edits himself. A new ability ships as source code with a mathematical proof, your machine re-derives the proof before anything installs, and what doesn't prove doesn't run. Think of it as a background check, except it actually happens, every time, and math does it instead of a guy named Randy. His capabilities rise; his authority never does. That's the whole constitution. It's one line. You're welcome.

Discretion

The discretion of a loyal secretary — or, for American audiences, of a lawyer you can actually afford, because he's free. He tells nobody anything. Your data leaves your machine only under a rule YOU set, every disclosure is written down where you can read it, and your most sensitive details go nowhere except by your own hand.
